I was bullied (like a lot of us here I'm sure) in high school for it. It was a group of 6 - 8 boys who would tell me to say some pretty difficult and long words and would punch me if I stammered or if I refused to say anything. Was a pretty horrible experience to be basically assaulted for something I couldn't control. And teachers were useless at helping and told me to just stop interacting with them. I eventually just got tired of it and never done what they told me and they eventually got bored. It's left me pretty socially inept though.
