Do you think stutterers have a higher chance of developing alcoholism? Whether alcohol improves your speech or not, I think it’s save to say that stuttering brings more difficulties in our lifes than with people who don’t stutter. We can have problems dealing with social situations which can cause us to develop negative thoughts about ourselves, since humans are very social creatures. As such, do you think we have a higher chance of developing drug abuse than a fluent speaker that has samiliar life circumstances?
