Anyone else feel like their speech is on a rhythm?

Anyone else feel like their speech is on a rhythm? My stuttering primarily takes the form of speech blocks now. I have this feeling when I am about to speak that I have to come in at a certain point during this beat in my head, and if the words don’t come out, I have to go through the beat again until I get there. It’s usually not very long, 2-10 notes maybe. My head bobbing/jerking as well as gasping (mannerisms I developed with the stutter over time) usually follow this beat as well. If I’m trying to talk to someone while listening to loud music or a loud TV is on or anything of the sort, it feels like it a lot harder to get past the block as I can’t follow my beat as well. Anyone else experience this? And if so, any tips? I feel this as well as the mannerisms isn’t inherent to stuttering and I just developed bad habits over time. Correct me if I’m wrong
