I wouldn't count mine as a disability as I don't feel it's severe enough and feels weird to me but I completely agree with what you mean. Even a small stutter is embarrassing, but usually, people either don't notice it or don't pay it any attention as they understand. In saying that, there have been times were a stutter has slipped out or I haven't been able to control it and it's caught the person off guard and they've laughed about it. I know no harm is intended and I understand their position but its still embarrassing and a little hurtful.
