Thanks for the info. He hasn’t been in speech therapy for a long time. I’m planning on finding a good slp to coincide with getting the device- even if it doesn’t work, I’m still going to have him try speech therapy one more time. He participated in speech camp at a college that does a lot of research on stuttering and the slps there were the onlu decent ones he had- probably because they specialized in stuttering research but he only participated two years when he was younger. I found a guy online that does speech therapy and he used to stutter so hoping he can help otherwise is there any online therapies your would recommend? Also in regards to the speech easy- I do know that he absolutely can’t stand to hear his own voice - this is why so many slps didn’t work for him - they all wanted him to listen to himself after talking and he cannot stand it. I am hoping that the pitch frequency adjustment will disguise it enough that he doesn’t have that aversion. Do you know if this is possible or have you seen other people be successful when they couldn’t stand to listen to their voice?
