My daughter started with a stutter and blocking at 3. She was able to start working with a speech pathologist who came to her preschool to work with her at 3 and a half. She is now 6.5 and does 50 mins of speech at school per week and we are just now making break throughs. We were told early on to try to get her to keep eye contact, wait for her to finish speaking, and answer back by first taking a big breath (slightly exaggerated so she will notice) and then speak your answer slower than normal. I am sure your speech pathologist will help you and give you tips on how to help her but for now it sounds like you are doing the right things.
