I have been told I have to speed up but I have seen people take bad interventions by moving too fast. So far I haven't had anything bad happen and I don't see that happening. Maybe it is because of severity I usually just struggle sometimes giving radio reports but that isn't all too urgent. But if I'm communication a drug dosage to someone then I can say it because I'm not usually worried about my stutter at that time because there is so much else going on. But one time I met a anesthesiologist who had a stutter and he was a doctor at one of the most respected medical centers in the country. His was worse than mine but he just struggled through his words and the few seconds to several seconds longer it took never seemed to matter.
