Worrying because of stuttering and stuttering because of worrying Hi, I am 17 years old and I have been stuttering for 5-6 years. In the early years stuttering was almost non-existent. But since last maybe 2 years things got rough. I started getting embarrassed about stuttering and even something quite normal, like meeting a stranger, became almost impossible. On the occasions when I am completely calm I don't stutter as much. However, if I get nervous, I can't say a word properly. The paradox is that I stutter because of worry, and worry because of stuttering. I worry to the point that it becomes a mild panic attack. I am asking for some advice on how to not worry so much. I went to a psychologist, however it turns out they can't help me. I apologize if there are any spelling mistakes, just using google translate
