In no way what so ever did I say it’s a “gift from god” but my guy you could be in a wheel chair or have a truly life limiting disability. A stutter is not a life limiting disability unless you let it be. You’re 17, you’ve barely lived a life yet, you aren’t in a “mid life crisis” or anything close to one. Stuttering fucking sucks and it’s fucking hard to deal with emotionally, physically, and mentally. But if you can overcome the stutter and live a beautiful life with a stutter just imagine the things you can achieve compared to those who haven’t had to deal with the struggles you and I have. I’m 10 years older than you and believe me I let my stutter negatively affect my life for years. Be better than the attitude you have right now, and gain some perspective on what a “living life on hard mode” actually is. Stutters are resilient, empathetic, and tough as fucking nails. You’re choosing weakness, stop it. I suggest you go to talk therapy (not speech therapy) and get to the root of why you dislike yourself and your stutter so much. Sounds like you need the help because it’s clear you have a victim complex. But to be fair it doesn’t seem like you want help, you just wanna bitch and moan like a little kid. If you wanna be a seal or any kind of hero you need to grow up, and that’s coming from a firefighter/EMT.
