Not being able to say your own name is practically universal. I’ve never met a stutter who doesn’t have more trouble with their name than other words. It’s one of those things. It’s hard to give advice about how to be more comfortable with your stutter because the path to achieving normalcy is different for everyone. The one thing I can say is you have to force yourself to speak in situations you’d rather not. Getting that experience even if you fail is useful in finding how others react and how you feel in those moments. Really it’s an answer you have to find yourself
