There is a really good book I have been reading online (only a couple of chapters in). It is called “Advice to those who stutter” 20+ speech therapists who are experts in their field provide great advice on overcoming stuttering. Best part is they all stuttered growing up and some even into adulthood. The book is great and gives a lot of great advice and techniques. I am in the same position as you. My stutter got replaced with a block and now I fear social interactions. But after reading the first 3 chapters of this book, I am working on the little techniques to accept the fact that I stutter, and to relax myself when I speak, avoid word substitution and speak at my pace. https://www.stutteringhelp.org/sites/default/files/Migrate/book0009_may2010.pdf Here’s the PDF. Also, if you want to reach out to me and discuss progress, techniques, feel free to message me anytime. I’m working on myself right now but I welcome people who want to join this journey with me!
