I think most stutterers have secondary behaviors that are more or less intrusive. I have a thing where I lift one eyebrow and lower the other. Probably gives me a puzzled look. :) Not sure to which extent these can be managed or treated, though. As far as I've learned, the variance is rather huge, so probably no singular approach is available.
