Tip: when a cashier says “have a good day”, I find it easier to respond with “you AS WELL” than “you TOO”. I always want to respond to a cashier saying “Have a good day!” at the end of a transaction with “you too”. But T’s are a difficult sound for me to say so there’s always an awkwardly long pause after they finish talking and I start (a classic “block”). The “Aa” sound is way easier for me to say, so I find that I can basically always say “you as well” with virtually no delay. This has become my favorite stuttering hack. The only downside is that “you as well” just feels a bit goofier and more uptight. No one cares though! Maybe this is useful to someone.
