I don't agree. Representation can be a good thing, even if it's not authentic (actors act - it's what they do). It won't be watertight but that's the same for all performance. Best thing is to do the research, which OP is. It's refreshing to see a performer give a subject matter the respect and it deserves rather than just winging it. I understand this perspective can come from a place of pain but I don't think anything is gained by people who stutter when we gatekeep our experience like this.
