I’ve stuttered since I was born. And I’ve taught and created over 20 courses. I know for a fact that my fluency issues have cost me teaching jobs but when I’m granite the opportunity, I always shine. Do not give up on your dream to be a teacher. When you teach as a stutter, that might go away because if you enjoy The content so much the confidence will back. I just defended my dissertation two weeks ago and I had a committee member rudely tell me to work on my stutter. And I had to defend just three days later and also my grandma died three weeks before. Life is not easy and we will have to work four times harder. However, do not give up.I have taught high school, community college, honors, at a jail( I taught at a jail) and I always try my best.
