Thank you for your perspective! It was nice to hear an opinion of not only a parent but someone who works among children of all abilities. I think that this debate is mainly amongst those who do not experience what people with disabilities go through and therefore begin to treat them like an “other”. I hope that others in the comments can see that my intentions were to ask for these voices, both side with this take.
