You're right, it is hard. Accepting your stutter and living with courage takes a lot of work and practice. Be kind to yourself. Hopefully you can find an SLP who specializes in stuttering. They can help you figure out how to get out there. Don't worry to much about "normal", it doesn't exist unless you're a washing machine. Seriously though, you're worth the effort and you're worth compassion especially from yourself.
