You minimise stuttering by minimising all the conditions that give rise to it. Anxiety, poor breathing problems, negative mental conditioning brought upon by your subconscious mind, rushing your speaking...list goes on. A lot of these problems can be reduced/eliminated by adopting a few life-changing habits - meditation, breathing exercises, mind work on your subconscious mind, becoming physically healthy and mentally healthy...just to name a few.
