Hey OP, My advice would be to be honest with your parents now about your depression and anxiety. I tried to keep it held in and had a full on mental break at age 26. Everything you stuff down now will bubble back up at some point. I know it’s hard, but telling my dad about my mental health issues (that even I had refused to admit to myself were real mental health issues for most of my life) was the most freeing feeling I’ve ever felt. I’m here to talk if you need to.
