As a doctor who stutters, it’s a struggle but at the end of the day, it’s not the end of the world and he can still do great as a doctor. For interviews, I’ve had some people reject me only for my stutter but I think to myself that it’s for the best because I don’t want to work with people that see my stutter as a burden and he will find interviewers that won’t care. 99% of patients don’t really care. I’ve been seeing patients for 15 years and I can count the patients that had an issue with my stutter on one hand. Doctors on the other hand may comment on the stutter and that’s where his resilience plays a part. I’ve been told many things about my stuttering by doctors, I just brush it off and keep going. I hope this helps and if you have any questions feel free to ask me.
