>"*80% of PWS can be classified as HSP (highly sensitive person).*" Amazing comment and it's very interesting! I also reviewed [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/1372xp9/tips_to_improve_stuttering_anticipation_is/) and [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/10uxqr6/tips_to_improve_stuttering_from_the_book/) research study that discussed HSP or sensory processing sensitivity (SPS) in scientific terminology, but these research studies didn't provide an exact percentage of PWS that are classified as HSP. Could you refer me to the link of the research that you read? I'm very interested. I could only find: * in [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/10uxqr6/tips_to_improve_stuttering_from_the_book/) book Clinical application 2023 I read: "*Recent studies have provided reasonable evidence for greater levels of trait anxiety in people who stutter as well as hints of possibly greater sensitivity in terms of temperament. The results mean that many Adults who Stutter (AWS) for years are likely to often feel tense, insecure, stressed, inadequate, nervous about social disapproval (Craig and Tran)*" * in [this](https://bearworks.missouristate.edu/theses/2518/) research study I read: "*The purpose of this research was to determine whether adult persons who stutter (PWS) exhibit higher levels of sensory-processing sensitivity than adult persons who do not stutter (PWNS). Overall, people who stutter were not statistically different from people who do not stutter (PWNS). However, the variability in sensory-processing sensitivity scores was great among PWS as well as PWNS.*" * in [this](https://pubs.asha.org/doi/abs/10.1044/1092-4388%282008/048%29) research study I read: "*Persistent and recovered speakers differed on temperamental performance at around age 8 years and performed differently on sensory and motor tasks at age 12+ years.*" **In my opinion**: this could suggest that children who rely less on sensory information and sensorimotor processes recover from stuttering more often after the age of 12 years old
