You are such a good writer, and I feel so much for you and your dad 😭 I have a stutter and would do anything to have it taken away forever. Your dad IS a boss. I have no idea how my children feel about it, but they certainly never mention it or even act like they notice. You aren’t disrespecting his years of trauma. You grew up with his voice. My dad was killed in 2014 and I imagine his voice all the time. I think it’s totally normal. His voice was special to you and now it’s different, so I can imagine it’s jarring and you miss his old voice. P.S. you’re a boss, too :)
