It's definitely worth trying, and really: three sessions isn't close to enough! As a kid I always hated the therapy so until I was like 18 I was in a vicious circle: 1. My stutter is getting worse 2. I start going to speech therapy once every week or once every two weeks for about 6 months 3. My stutter gets better 4. I quit speech therapy because I'm alright with my speech at that point 5. For 6 months-1 year my speech is fine 6. Repeat At this point I have accepted my stutter, and on some level I even like it. I absolutely 100% stand behind what /u/babyjet321 says: you just have to accept your stutter. I'm also going to give a [link](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/8kkw7j/my_strategy_ive_been_using_for_quite_some_time/) to a post of mine (not the first time I've done that in this sub but I really agree with myself haha) as I think it might help you.
