In my opinion even if there are no therapies that cure stuttering, any therapy could still 'help' in one aspect. Stuttering is a complexity of hardwired mental states but also learned behaviors so any therapy could deal with a small part of the bigger picture. My recommendation is to find a therapy that subtracts control rather than add, think about subtracting the way you think about stuttering and changing the relation of how you handle anticipatory fear and your reactions to it, think about weakening the association between the negative predicted outcome and your compulsion (stop breathing out or stop moving your mouth) and at all costs, avoid distraction methods since their aim is for temporary application (temporary anxiety reduction) which only makes the problem more worse the next time you speak. Unlearning your unhelpful viewpoints and reactions to anticipatory fear takes at least 3 or 6 months so 2 weeks will only reinforce relapse
