It really is soul crushing at times, but you have to keep going. Cause life gets so much harder if you give up, I know Cause I gave in to substance abuse in my teens. Learning my stutter is neurological. Recently, at 23, I have really lifted a weight off my shoulders cause I've been trying to be fluent for 7+ years. Altho I still struggle with confidence but am working on it
