Has anyone noticed that some fluent people stutter when you stutter? My mother-in-law apologized for stuttering around me. She wanted me not to think she was mocking me. She did have a latent childhood stutter, though. I have experienced other people having a sympathetic stammer. Perhaps it’s empathy, but has anyone else experienced this? Sue do you want to eat?
