“When you’re struggling”… why does he assume it’s a “struggle” ? It’s just a way of speaking…. I always describe it as a struggle. I see what you mean tho. But I don't think he meant any offense by it. When I talk about my stutter, I usually refer to it as "when I struggle." Technically, I am struggling to get words out. And I respect that the host asked him what he prefers because I get offended if someone finishes my sentences in a way where it seems like they are annoyed by my stutter. But there are times when I can tell if someone is genuinely thinking they are helping me. It's all about their tone and body language.
