I’ve found that in some situations it’s better to say something like “ I do want to say that before I begin, that I do have a slight stutter and I hope that it doesn’t detract from any of the information I’m going to be presenting today” or something similar if you’re an up front kind of person. Or I’ve also waited until I do stutter and make some sort of short statement about it. Seeing as this seems to be in a collegiate environment I don’t see any reason why it would affect your thesis. Good luck!
