Might have been true when we were kids. Kids latch onto anything that makes a kid different and ridicule to pieces. But once older, it’s just more of a curiosity than anything. Like “oh wow it’s a person that stutters, been a while since I’ve talked with someone like that, I hope they don’t notice me not trying to notice it..” Anyone that still ridicules you for it is still a child. I’m so glad you’re becoming less self-conscious OP. And it’ll help your stutter, too.
