Maybe tell him you have a stutter, but if you're confident you can lead and know your stuff better than any other candidate. Your stutter won't matter if you're confident in the fact that you are passionate. I know a lot of people who stutter who use it to their advantage as people by seeing that they have the courage to do their work even though they have a setback that others don't have or experience. It would make you look stronger.
