I feel your pain, man, I really do. Like almost everyone else here, I don't think you should quit. In fact, I don't want you to quit. I want you to stick with it, practice and overcome this obstacle because I know you can. Check out a book called ["Self Therapy For the Stutterer" by Malcom Fraiser. ](https://www.stutteringhelp.org/sites/default/files/Migrate/book0012_11th_ed.pdf). It outlines a number of techniques that have helped me tremendously. I still have fluency issues, especially when I get nervous or excited (like all of us, eh?), but when I keep up with my practice and remember the techniques, my fluency greatly improves.
