Yeah, I think one of the most frustrating things about stuttering is the situational variability of it. Socially, I feel like I'm always hyper-aware of the fact that any minute my mind could turn on me. Even if I'm having a decent day speech-wise. And yeah, I'm almost totally fluently when alone, so I know it's not solely a problem with my physical speech mechanism. Maddening!
