anyone on SSRI's? I recently started taking an SSRI for depression/anxiety. In some ways my stuttering is better because I feel over all slowed down and not so anxious all the time. Still have some speaking fears but they are less. But I do feel like I have having longer and harder silent blocks that are harder for me to get out of and I'm not sure if it is related to the SSRI. My doctor isn't sure because she doesn't have experience with stutterers. I feel a ton better on the medicine so it's not like I would stop taking it. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced an increased in blocks or other stuttering behaviors when taking an antidepressant. I'm taking Trintellix, which is a newish SSRI. I know it increases dopamine which I think maybe affecting my speech.
