>my fear of getting caught stuttering. In my experience this fear of getting caught stuttering - aka stutter pressure or fluency pressure increases panic to stop breathing out (or stop moving articulators like tongue or jaw) when speaking. What I did was: instead of focusing on feeling lonely I moved this focus to really experiencing this stutter pressure until I became tolerant against it (which taught me that it's less real or probable). The positive effect was that whenever I felt stutter pressure, I was still able to breathe out and move articulators during speech which resulted in reducing (or stopping) speech blocks.
