This is just my experience, but anyone who calls anything mental health related a “crutch” has no idea what they’re talking about. Think about it, what is a crutch? It helps people walk who have trouble walking. Should we shame them for using something to help them live their life as normally as possible? Of course not. When I was in the process of getting medicated for ADHD, I was told by many people that it was a crutch. Yeah, no shit it is. It’s not bad though.
