Is the Celexa helping? There's a prominent physician who is using medication to treat stuttering. He has drugs in phase 2 trials and the SSRIs such as Celexa have helped. He has several youtube videos (Dr. Gerald Maguire) and he and his research has shown that stuttering is a neurological disorder akin to Tourettes and Parkinsons. I am a fully fluent recovered stutterer who became fluent at age 70! My stuttering was caused by an abusive childhood and cured through psychotherapy, but it appears stuttering also can have a neurological basis and is treatable with the correct medication. Good luck. I can give you hope. I recovered when I was older than you are. Sue
