I'm 17 (M) and I've stuttered ever since I could remember. My grandfather had one and his went away at age 12 or 13. Damn I remember getting so excited for my 12 or 13th birthday because I thought that it would just dissipate just like that. Similarly, my mother had a really bad case when she was a teen, and hers dissipated also (it is 'fading away', according to her). everyone's stutter is different and everyone's speech is different in a way, regardless if they stutter even. Don't compare yourself to anybody else, especially not how anyone else speaks.
