Honestly I’d say that being in shape and working out is the biggest key, being fit and having your skin in order opens up so many doors. You won’t BELIEVE the opportunities that lie ahead of you if these two criterias are fulfilled, regardless of financial status etc. People love a cute goofy mf (or if you get handsome, great. Point is: you are competing against non-stutterers - you need every advantage you can get) Once that is in order, the other key is just putting yourself in circumstances where interaction with the preferred audience is going on. Friend groups, clubbing (with friends), knowing someone in a group and joining them for a hangout, dinner, etc etc. Getting comfortable in just being a good friend —> expanding your circle —> more opportunities to meet someone in a setting where it’s natural. Idk if it’s a cultural difference but for me as a non-american any concept of just approaching someone irl for a chat (at like a store or bookstore or whatever, not in a more closed area) seems insane (since you have so much to lose in comparison with just being introduced to a friends friend etc)
