Best advice I’ve ever received So after a few months of being in this group i have learned quite a lot from you all so thank you for that. So i thought i might share a little advice myself. Stop caring so much about what others think because not only is it irrelevant it’s pointless. As someone who has stuttered everyday of their life i can positively say that no one cares as much as you do. The strangers that you converse with for those brief moments throughout your day don’t go home and dwell on your speech impediment more than likely they forget you ever spoke. I know it’s hard and the only thing you can think about is what others are thinking in the moment and the only way to avoid that is to actually stop caring. Life is to short to live in the shadow of something you can’t help. Remember no one truly cares about your speech impediment.
