In highschool I had the same problems, but I joined the theater program at my school and that really helped me when it came to my public speaking skills. Now that I'm 22 and out of school I've noticed people are a lot more accepting, I do come across a couple of assholes occasionally but a lot less after highschool. I know it's shitty advice to say just wait it out, but as soon as you're out of highschool you'll be able to surround yourself with similar minded individuals. I now have friends, a rewarding career, and a lovely girlfriend. It'll get better, my dude 🤙
