Yeah, that makes sense. We might even try to think of it as a _skill_. Like, we're keeping up our ability to manage our stutter. I sometimes see stutterers think of their _speech_ as the skill they need to improve, in order to stop stuttering. But I think our speech is just fine. It's just that stuttering factors in. We need to work on having that factor around - and _that's_ our 'skill'. I suppose we could think of it in many ways, and that's kinda interesting to me. Some conceptualizations are more fruitful than others, I reckon. :)
