not an elevator pitch… Words that were beautiful and elegant and meaningful in my brain Now feel trapped inside like a snow globe A distorted translation of their initial meaning when you try to take them out Relying on safe, easy words and condensed language I see my beautiful, colorful landscape grey scaled and sized to fit the constraints of its environment But that's ok Because I am not an elevator pitch I will never be an elevator pitch I am a chapter book scribbled in a notebook with pages ripped out It may take longer and be clunkier than I want it to be But I will get my message across if you take the time to listen And that is okay with me
