I feel like the average person cannot understand what we go through. One can imagine being blind, or deaf, but stuttering doesn't make sense to those unaffected. We have each other, but for many of us seeing another stutter can make us feel terrified. As we see what others see In us. This is what I need to work on. The next time I meet a fellow person who stutters I will show them kindness and love as my special sisters and brothers.
