Does anyone know how to increase the delay before Google Assistant/Home responds?

Does anyone know how to increase the delay before Google Assistant/Home responds? Sometimes I block for a bit when saying a command and before I get my sentence out fully, Google home responds and it's incredibly annoying. Does anyone here know if there's a way to get a longer delay? And does anyone have this same problem?
