Excellent advice! Couldn't agree more with what you said. However when a stutterer loses control of his or her speech, they tend to be in a state of panic. And when you're in a state of panic, most of you're ability to regulate negative emotions shuts down. You Just mentally shut down. All you're thinking about is how to regain control of your speech. So I think we as stutterers need to learn how to come out of that panic mode. Only then can we start thinking about implementing the tips you shared.
