Don't give up. I stuttered from age 4-5 until 70! My stuttering was caused by my reaction to an abusive childhood. Though not all stutterers were emotionally triggered, all stutterers suffer from anxiety and shame. Never stop working toward your solution whatever the cause, and address the anxiety associated with speaking. It's never too late. Sue
