Has anyone else here started stuttering out of the blue?

Has anyone else here started stuttering out of the blue? It's been like this since Saturday, after a hard competition, but the doctors think it's stress. Luckily people at school are nice about it, but it's just frustrating for me to try and say something as a joke, and just taking way to long to come out. Is anyone else here in the same boat? Is this going to be a part of me now?
