For young children stuttering I'll always advise you to get them singing, it actively engages the speech centre of the brain for language development, get them carols, rhymes, books, instruments, hell buy guitar hero for them to play, they should never see in themselves they have a disability, fingers crossed the stammer goes away and at worst they had an awesome childhood with guitar hero and a stammer.
