Being Authentic as a Stutterer Hey guys, today I went through a series of interviews for potential jobs, that actually went very well. I stammered a few times, but nothing noticeable or earth-shattering (you know how it is). I guess I am just having trouble being authentic while interviewing, being that I constantly have to change direction while talking based on what words I stutter on. Sometimes I even catch myself lying just to get around certain words. This makes me feel terrible inside, almost fraudulent in a way. Is this relatable to anyone else? Suggestions?
