Getting an entry-level job seems impossible at this point. Hello, /r/stutter. I've been lurking this sub for a while now and have read a lot of post that I could relate too, especially the troubles of getting a job/interviews. Over the summer I really tried to get a job, since I need something to do besides playing video games and such, but it went terrible. I had a total of five interviews, all with various fast food places and a movie theater, and never got anything. It really put me down, because If I can't even get a job at a fast food place, how the hell am I going to survive in the real world? It's also doesn't help that my parents blamed my longish hair being the problem(im a guy). But after getting it cut, I've still gotten no luck after two other interviews. I've even told the interviewer that I stutter so that they know and don't think I'm just really nervous or something. I just don't know what to do at this point. My parent hate me being at home all the time and took my computer until a can get a job but it seems like I'll never be able to get one. Do any of you know how to have a good interview? Id really appreciate some advice right now, I don't really know where else to go to.
